Call to artists: Of Hills and water Route - Phase 2
November 17, 2020

La Pêche, November 17, 2020 The Municipality of La Pêche is launching a call to local professional artists and, more broadly, to artists in the Outaouais region to create a public work of art for the municipality’s main park in Sainte-Cécile-de-Masham. Interested artists have until midnight on January 22, 2021, to submit a proposal.

The Of Hills and Water Routeis a trail featuring public works of art that shine a light on the historic, cultural, and natural heritage of the seven municipalities in MRC des Collines-de-l’Outaouais. Phase 1 of the project, during which eight sculptures were installed in various parts of the MRC, was completed in 2017. In Phase 2 a second round of public art will be installed in participating municipalities, giving visitors to the Of Hills and Water Route even more to see.

The new installation will once again celebrate the natural and unique heritage of the Municipality of La Pêche, highlighting its stunning landscapes, proud citizens, and talented artists.

The project is made possible thanks to the generous participation of MRC des Collines-de-l’Outaouais, for which we are grateful.
