Hydro-Québec is attempting to manage the flow of the Gatineau River to minimize the impact on the population. However, some areas are affected because of the high level of the Gatineau River. The Municipality of La Pêche would like to inform the residents of the Gatineau River that sand bags are available at the William (Bill) Gonzalez fire station located at 27 MacLaren Road, telephone 819-459-1733.

For those affected by flooding and maybe the possibly to benefiting from the Ministry of Public Security (MSP) financial assistance program, please provide your contact information (name, address, phone number) to the Municipality during regular hours Monday, Tuesday and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at 819-456-2161 ext 0.
